Among the wonders of Cividale del Friuli, presented as an excellence of our region also at the EXPO in Osaka 2025, is the collection of marionettes, puppets, dummies, and "pupi" from the Compagnia dei Piccoli by Vittorio Podrecca, preserved to this day thanks to the personality of Maria Signorelli, an artist and intellectual, whose sensitivity allowed in the '60s to save a large part of the materials related to the Podrecca Company, rescuing them from dispersion and oblivion.
