Spaccafumo
An iron statue of Nievo’s ”Spaccafumo”. He was the baker of Cordovado, described by Ippolito Nievo
in “Confessions of an Italian” as a man who “had been gloriously given that nickname since he was
mighty fast when chased”. Nowadays, it is also an energy-rich artisan cake made of dried figs, raisins,
walnuts, hazelnuts, pine nuts, almonds, arancini and honey.
